Did you do English at school and now seldom have the opportunity to use it? Well, now you have the chance.
Join our English Conversation Groups. In these groups we would like to increase our vocabulary, improve our grammar and most of all build up our confidence while speaking English. We will read various articles on different subjects, listen to a song or two (which can be chosen by the group) and then discuss them in detail. During the discussions we hope to improve our pronunciation, build up self confidence and have a good time.

Bella Italia - So manch einer träumt bei grauem Winterwetter schon vom nächsten Urlaub im sonnigen Süden,
vielleicht auch in Italien, wo sich die Eisberge in der Gelateria türmen und frischer Espressoduft aus der Kaffeebar um die Ecke weht. Dieser Sprachkurs wird Sie mit den wichtigsten Vokabeln und Sätzen vertraut machen, die man während eines Urlaubs braucht. Hier geht es uns nicht um das systematische Erlernen der italienischen Sprache, sondern um Bausteine für eine einfache Verständigung. Urlaub macht idealerweise Freude, und unter diesem Motto steht auch dieser Sprachkurs!

English Book Group
Is it also one of your favorite pastimes to sit back with a good book and enjoy the privacy of reading – maybe even with a good book written in English? If so, wouldn’t it be nice to meet some people who have read the same book and supplement your private pursuit by an exchange of thoughts and reactions to what you’ve read!? - You might be surprised to see what other ways of understanding are possible, or that you’ve actually missed some aspect of the whole, because every reader naturally stays within the limits of his/her frame of mind. Thus you may find our “book talk” a very enriching experience!
In our meetings we want to talk in a free and easy way about a chosen set of books, which may range from contemporary to classical, from a “fast read” to something more challenging, from novel or short story to an occasional play or set of poems, originating from all over the English speaking world. Participants are welcome to make suggestions.
